REFERENCE SCOPE

Primary project descriptions + dated secondary edition comparison

Use the domain as the first clue

This site covers Charcher’s project at pokebonk.com. Search results also include Touchzada’s separate project at pokebonk.solais.cloud and OpenGame’s Pocket Survivor adaptation. A shared name does not make their controls, progression or account systems interchangeable.

Treat a mismatch as a useful clue

OpenGame describes its own independent adaptation and a compact two-minute challenge. That explains why a page about a Pikachu starter or that short challenge may not match the game covered here. Check the publisher and address before trying to reconcile conflicting advice.

Likewise, an announcement about online play in another project is not evidence for the same feature here. Look for an actual mode description and entry flow in the particular version you intend to play.

Check a guide in four quick steps

Match the domain, the project author, the guide’s version and the menus visible in your game. If one differs, resolve that mismatch before spending time on a detailed build. This check is especially useful when a search result promises a download or a feature you cannot find.

PokéBonk PRO is an independent guide and planning site. Its Play link opens the original project. The original game remains responsible for its own availability, accounts and rules.

Quick questions

Is PokéBonk an official Pokémon release?

The original project identifies itself as an unofficial fan game and states that it is not affiliated with the Pokémon rights holders.

Can I use a guide for another same-name version?

Only after checking that the relevant rules match. A familiar character name is not enough to establish the same move, level or unlock requirement.

How we use sources ↗

Game rules can change. Check your current in-game description when a detail differs. Numerical references are a dated snapshot, not a claim of current balance or a completed playtest.
