REFERENCE SCOPE

Secondary mode observations, originally Beta v0.5.5

Read the preparation panel

The documented Classic structure progresses through zones and guardians. Survival describes an escalating horde on one map. The referenced Classic screen has Normal, Hard and Nightmare choices; the observed Survival preparation screen does not use that same selector.

Choose Classic when you want to practise a sequence of objectives. Choose Survival when you want to focus on sustaining a run. These are learning goals, not a measured statement that one mode is easier or more profitable.

Give each timer a name

The secondary opening observations distinguish a Classic zone countdown from Survival elapsed time and a separate guardian countdown. Before comparing screenshots or videos, identify the label beside the number. Two clocks on the screen can measure different things.

Compare one change at a time

Keep the partner and region steady while learning a mode. Once the structure feels familiar, change one major choice and record what happened. Avoid comparing a fresh starter attempt with a heavily upgraded later run and attributing the entire difference to mode selection.

If an objective asks for a particular mode or difficulty, copy that condition into your plan before starting. A long run in another mode may still be enjoyable without advancing the intended requirement.

Quick questions

Which mode gives the most Stardust per minute?

We have not measured comparable runs, so this guide does not rank farming efficiency. Compare your own recorded rewards and time under similar conditions.

Do clans prove that a mode is cooperative?

No. A social menu alone does not establish shared live gameplay. Verify that feature in the particular project you opened.

Game rules can change. Check your current in-game description when a detail differs. Numerical references are a dated snapshot, not a claim of current balance or a completed playtest.
