REFERENCE SCOPE

Secondary controls references through v0.7.7

Check these actions first

The desktop references list WASD or arrow keys for movement, mouse for camera, Space for jump, Shift for slide, R for Ultimate and E for interaction. These describe recorded bindings; your saved settings can differ. Open Settings → Keys before relying on a shortcut.

Separate aiming from camera sensitivity

The documented Automatic setting aims at the nearest enemy; Manual follows the camera direction. If attacks do not go where you expect, inspect that mode before changing sensitivity. Practise one setting for a short section, then compare the other with the same partner.

Keep movement, camera and menu practice separate at first. Trying to learn every shortcut during a crowded fight makes it harder to tell which input caused the result.

Old videos may show old keys

The secondary update record reports F / X / Z for level-up Refresh / Skip / Banish in v0.7.6–v0.7.7, replacing older R / S / B prompts. Pause is configurable in that later reference. Follow the visible prompt instead of assuming an older guide applies.

  • Use Continue to resume; Restart and Give up have different purposes.
  • For touch play, inspect the on-screen layout rather than copying desktop key instructions.

Quick questions

Is Manual aiming always stronger?

We have no controlled comparison establishing that. Choose the mode you can use consistently, then compare a specific task under similar conditions.

Why does my pause key differ?

Bindings can be customized, and the references span multiple releases. Read your current Keys panel and the current pause prompt.

Game rules can change. Check your current in-game description when a detail differs. Numerical references are a dated snapshot, not a claim of current balance or a completed playtest.
